Same Difference by Samuel G. Roberson Jr. is about two young black men, from very different backgrounds, who find themselves roomed together in their first year of college. They are forced to reconcile their identities and differences in a world that reinforces the assumption that “all black men are the same.” This energized, emotional roller-coaster insightfully explores the question of “How do you define yourself in a world that has already decided who you are?”
